THE Wedding Venue on the shores of Loch Lomond

Words cannot adequately express our gratitude to Laura, Rory and Cameron for making our big day simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble! We visited the gorgeous Boturich numerous times over the two years waiting for our wedding day to arrive and were always greeted by the lovely Laura who was more than happy to help and make us feel welcome. She recommended Lisa at Dream Day flowers and we were blown away with her amazing work. Big thanks also to Ian for keeping a well stocked bar and catering to our guests. You guys made our wedding the best day ever. Our guests were overwhelmed with the stunning views and have been raving about the beautiful venue non-stop. Love and best wishes to you all,

Back home finally after an amazing 3 weeks away and starting to adjust to reality once again. We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Boturich but especially to Laura, Rory and Cameron for making our day so special. How lucky we were in the end with the weather and being able to have the ceremony outside really did make it so wonderful. No one could believe the views and people kept telling us it was the most amazing setting they had ever been to, which I fully agree with. Where someone gets married plays such an important part of their overall day, but you guys topped that remit in a spectacular fashion. I just want to say en enormous thank you for all you did to make Lynsey and John's wedding so perfect. You have no idea how many guests have written or contacted me to say how much they had enjoyed the day. You can see from the photographs every one beaming, really shining, smiling and laughing was amazing, how lucky we were to have such a glorious day to enjoy the beauty around us. Unexpected touches such as the rugs and beanbags were superb, encouraging everyone to relax and enjoy, shoes were kicked off and the children had a ball. I loved the informality, the caterers and musicians were also fantastic. The whole day just flowed. I don't think it could have been more perfect !!!!

Dear Laura and Rory

I hardly know where to begin to thank you for such a wonderful time before, during and after Fiona and Darran’s wedding at Boturich; you were both wonderful.

Whenever we arrived at Boturich you always magically appeared to plan and support us through the process. You managed to provide highly supportive suggestions but in an easy going and most professional manner. Consequently, we felt very confident and relaxed throughout the day of the wedding.

Laura, you were a fabulous help to Fiona in planning the day and very responsive to all her suggestions. Rory, the house and garden looked perfect and that doesn’t happen without a lot of preparation. I was told after the wedding you ran a guest home as she had fainted. Being a doctor, she self medicated, had a nap and returned to the wedding as she so wanted to be there!

Many of our guests came from all over the world, however the majority were Scottish and to a man they were bowled over with the amazing venue that is Boturich Castle. Fiona and Darran had the wedding of their dreams, thanks to you both.

You make a great team together. Many, many thanks for all your hard work and attention to detail.

I’m writing to say first and foremost thank you for such a great day that you helped us have. You were both delightful to work alongside, in the run up to the event and also on the weekend itself.

Boturich castle is a magnificent location for a wedding. I recently conducted the wedding there of Lyndsey Ryden and Michael Dickie. The setting could not have been better. The sight of the white covered seating set against the backdrop of the stunning scenery of Loch Lomond was truly breathtaking and after 30 plus years of doing weddings I thought I had seen it all. I was greatly impressed by Rory and Laura who handled the event with a nice combination of professionalism and warmth. Top marks for providing an excellent venue for folk wishing to be married on the Bonny Banks. Boturich is really stunning and deserves to be one of the foremost places in Scotland for folk to get married. I wish you the very best.

We get to play at many venues but the marquee at Boturich Castle beats them all. The setting is out of this world and the acoustics first class.

As soon as we visited Boturich it was obvious that there could not be a more scenically spectacular wedding venue around Loch Lomond. From the moment the decision to hold Zoë and Jason's wedding there Laura could not have been more helpful. She had a full complement of highly recommended support companies that we could contact to complete the arrangements for the wedding day. She arranged meetings and continually liaised with us. She bent over backwards to be helpful.

It was a huge bonus when we learned that planning permission had been granted for the semi-permanent marquee as this meant one fewer thing to think about and any worry concerning the marquee was transferred to Laura and her partner, Ruairidh.

On the day everything went like clockwork, and once again Laura and Ruairidh were unobtrusively present and at the ready. Fortunately because their planning had been so excellent all went without incident.

Undoubtedly Boturich Castle is the most beautifully located venue for a wedding anywhere in the central belt. Simply it has the best of one of Scotland’s finest views – looking north, up Loch Lomond beyond the Ben and Ben More towards the Glencoe ranges. Stunning on the spectacular day we were afforded. 

The state of the art marquee, large and luxurious, nestling in high slopes above the southern shores of the loch has two sides of panoramic windows. Adjacent to the castle and with generous access to lawn, decking and surrounds it is everything a host could demand.

Laura and Ruairidh are endearingly charming, as well as incredibly helpful, having thought through all the detail which goes into a seamless function.

There is no question Boturich Castle Venue is THE place to entertain.
